Our Background

Preece Waste & Recycling Equipment Solutions has been founded by Simon Preece. After 12 years of managing Budget Bin Hire, Simon continually felt starved of good quality equipment at an affordable price. As such Simon banded with a number of engineers and suppliers to specifically supply equipment for their bin hire branch and waste transfer station. Furthermore to the design and purchase of all their waste equipment Simon set up and oversaw the running of their two C&D waste transfer stations and daily operations for their bin hire branch.

Simon is a natural born leader who has served as a Co-Op member on the Victorian Waste Management Association board. Established and convened the Young Members Sub Committee for 3 years for Latrobe Golf Club and organised a number of new golf competitions for the club including the 2019 Latrobe Pro-AM which was nominated for best Victorian Pro-AM by Golf Victoria.

In addition to his vast knowledge and experience in the waste & recycling industry, Simon has a background in Financial Planning and holds a Adv Dip of Fin Plan (Financial Services).
